A People in Centre team member joined as a trainer in the UNDP and UN-ESCAP organised SAARC regional training on Post Disaster Needs Assessment, held from April 24 to April 29, 2016. This four-day training at Chillaw, Sri Lanka, aimed at building national capacity to conduct damage and needs assessment in case of disasters, with participants from Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The People in Centre team member led the housing and community infrastructure sector.
