Rebuilding After Disasters – Lessons from CIDA supported Tsunami Projects in India

Co-authored a booklet distilling lessons from CIDA-supported tsunami projects in India, with wider application to disaster rehabilitation.

Period2009

Distilling the learning from Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)-supported tsunami projects in India, Vivek Rawal and P. Thamizoli authored and published a small booklet. The learning was derived from projects implemented by CIDA partners in the states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Though focused on CIDA projects, the learning may have wider application in other disaster rehabilitation projects as well. With due acknowledgement to CIDA, the booklet is shared and is available on request. Feedback and comments are welcome.
