Provided technical and policy support to Nepal's owner-driven reconstruction following the 2015 earthquake.
Following the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake, Nepal adopted an owner-driven reconstruction approach for housing recovery. People in Centre supported the National Reconstruction Authority and development partners through technical guidance, policy inputs and capacity building.
The work focused on strengthening owner-driven reconstruction systems, improving technical support mechanisms, and documenting lessons from Nepal’s recovery experience.
