After the tsunami of December 2004, CIDA supported six reconstruction projects in India. An independent monitoring team of People in Centre and P. Thamizoli monitored these projects periodically, sharing assessment reports with CIDA and its partners. During the period 2006 to 2009, five monitoring reports were produced.
