An assessment of post-tsunami housing reconstruction in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands was undertaken by Vivek Rawal, Rajendra Desai and Dharmesh Jadeja and published by Books for Change. The report articulates the perspective of local communities on the reconstruction process and was part of a collaborative effort by ActionAid, TriNet, the Housing and Land Rights Network and the Society for Andaman & Nicobar Ecology.
