People in Centre undertook a feasibility study into the possibilities of promoting community-based systems for water treatment through a social entrepreneurship model. The study focused on Western Rajasthan and Kutch, Gujarat — arid, water-scarce regions where drinking water quality is generally poor and treatment facilities are needed. The report made recommendations on how social entrepreneurship could be promoted.
