People in Centre has been contracted by the International Development Economics Association (IDEAs) to conduct, coordinate and manage an advanced certificate programme on research in political economy. Focused on issues of development, economics and governance, this one-year international programme targets PhD aspirants and young PhD scholars in economics. In-person classes for Indian participants and online classes for international students are delivered in collaboration with IDEAs, with engagement from internationally renowned resource persons, under the leadership of Dr. Jesim Pais. The second batch, comprising 23 Indian and 21 international students, joined the programme in 2023–24.
