‘People in Centre’ Consulting undertook review of Earthquake Risk Reduction and Recovery Preparedness (ERRRP) project in Bhutan and Nepal. The programme was implemented by respective country offices of UNDP, facilitated by Bureau of Crisis Prevention and Recovery-UNDP & UNOPS. Funded by Government of Japan, this almost three year project aimed at building capacities of the national and local governments to ensure earthquake safe construction through implementation of appropriate codes and guidelines, training of human resources and technology demonstrations.
